It Takes a Village
Our community approach keeps childcare costs affordable for families and provides a variety of experiences for our little learners.
Affordability
We Play Outside offers a unique discount program. If you are able to commit 5 hours of volunteer hours a month, you save $5 every day. For a full time student, that adds up to a savings of $25/week and approximately $100/month!

Daily rate and hourly rate students can both receive the discount!

Volunteer hours can be honored in many ways such as 15 minute daily bursts, a once a month 5 hour long stretch, or anything inbetween. Volunteer hours can be split (for example, two parents, a grandparent, an aunt, and an uncle could all contribute 1 hour of volunteering to qualify for a student's 5 monthly hours.
A network of support
Having a mix of ages provides opportunities for younger children to have a model for what is possible, and attempt tasks that they otherwise wouldn't. Older children learn the skill to adapt play and practice gentleness with younger children.
Children thrive with a network of peers and adults that support them. We Play Outside is more than a daycare, it is a community. We encourage volunteering, and even provide incentives and discounts to do so!
Our in-home setting allows siblings to play and learn together, rather than being seperated into age-designated classes.
